The Wilderness Downtown
You should have heard the new Arcade Fire album by now, yeah? It’s another big effort for the Canadians, with all the expected emotional heart pulls and elation they’ve built a rep for. Some how they seem to be hooked up with google, and have put out an interactive video clip that involves their song, googles documentation of the entire planet and your childhood. It is completely as ambitious as it sounds. Go ahead to www.thewildernessdowntown.com and check it out.
designschneider
Desingscneider have extremely cool things to show you. Check out the coffins and urns! Makes you wanna throw the towel in.
Hunt Studio

Firstly, Hunt Studio make process Journal. I posted about it a couple down from this one. I nearly put them in the same post but the work here is really worthy of it’s own acknowledgment. Have a good look through their folio – huntstudio.com.au.
Moffitt.Moffitt.
If you were to ask my belly, it would say that Lucky Beer is not the tastiest beer in the bottle-o. It’s a thing I find with Chinese beers, that the headache actually precedes the drunkenness – a particularly unwelcome reversal of the conventional order of things. But that hasn’t stopped me from buying Lucky Beer rather a lot – how could I not?! Have you seen the bottles?
Anyway, have a look at Moffitt Moffitt. They did the bottle and some excellent collateral for the brand, including these great Gilbert & Georgeish posters. They are twins (which is really cool in itself) from Sydney with plenty of great work.
Eye ball

I’ve had this link open for a couple days now, and it has stopped being sort of gross to look at, but it is still AMAZING. Look at other pictures of eyes at photographyserved.com.
Process Journal

Process Journal #2 was released a little short of a month ago. IT IS BEAUTIFUL. And it’s about creatives in Australia, which is a nice thing to read about. Have a look at their perfect site.
Charlatan/Martyr/Hustler
Joey Roth’s spartan site features only two products and one poster that he has produced. But all three are beautiful things, and shit, when I was 25 I was still a go-nowhere student bum.
Thanks Lauren for the link!
We have decided not to die

I’m not sure what Collider are exactly. I’m pretty sure they’re Australian and very sure they’re creative. You should check out the breathy, suspense filled short film We Have Decided Not To Die, and also the Sydney Dance Company work they’ve done. Look at everything actually – collider.com.au.
Société des Ambianceurs et des Personnes Élégantes
The Société des Ambianceurs et des Personnes Élégantes is a group of well dressed men in Brazzaville, the Republic of the Congo. Flavorpill tells us,
There are strict rules of dress for Sapeurs: three colors are the maximum for an outfit and the status of style is increased by accessories, such as cigars, pipes, ties, glasses, and walking sticks… Beyond being stylish, Sapeurs are also confirmed pacifists.
Italian photographer Daniele Tamagni has published a book about these blinding hipsters.
Jonathan Harris

The internet can be pretty damn ugly. Fortunately, beyond the crappy fonts, blue html links with underline, and paragraph widths that adjust to fit your window there is the work of Jonathan Harris. If you’ve seen wefeelfine.org before, or spent some time looking at the universe, You’ve probably breathed that sigh of relief; the web can be a warm, exciting and beautiful experience.
